Courbette's Breast Collars & Breastplates

Breast Collars prevent the saddle from slipping to the rear and hold it firmly in place.

Our correctly designed breast collar is fully padded and
lined with soft leather for utmost comfort. The side straps attach to the girth and are fitted with four keepers to secure the ends. The neck strap is adjustable on both sides. Center loop on collar to pass a martingale through. Stainless steel hardware.

Breastplates help to keep the saddle in place. On some horses the saddle might slide to the rear, and a breastplate prevents this from happening. It attaches to the front D's on the saddle and to the girth, between the horse's forelegs. Ideal for hunting or in a hilly country side. A standing or running attachment may be used in conjunction with a breastplate.

Made of strongest German bridle leather with 1 1/8" flat, fully adjustable body strap, 5/8" neck straps, and a raised neck piece. For proper adjustment at the neck we offer adjustments ON BOTH NECK STRAPS. The removable running attachment attaches to the D-ring. Stainless steel hardware.
